Remember how, in the old days, we'd Google somebody to find any intriguing gossip about them? Or perhaps give a quick glance in the general direction of their facebook profile? Before all the stringent privacy settings...
I have a new tool now to satisfy my stalking needs. Peter. No, he is not some sort of Private Eye to do all the dirty work. I'm talking about Hello Peter.
I first became familiar with this site when I had a run in with the South African Post Office, right after I resigned and they refused to pay out some monies owed to me. Taking the matter to the CCMA didn't work. Publishing it on Hello Peter did. After waiting nearly a year, I received my dues within a month. Or 2, but that is still better than waiting a year.
So, Hello Peter is not the most informative source when "researching" people, but when you take into consideration the amount of bad customer service vibes floating around, and how easily customers tend to complain about the bad service they receive, (or even, just how many times one service provider type person renders bad service to her customers,) you might just find all the stalking delight your little heart can stand... *evil laugh*
Or, maybe I'm just a little crazy...
