To everyone black, white, coloured and the rest of you dumb ass idiots who thinks that the emblem must go.

Let me start by saying this - the springboks united 40 million people like no other in a time in SA where the situation was volatile.

Yes it was a symbol of the old guard but it has changed so much in the last 14 years and it has brought many South Africans together.

This must stop right away and politics has to get out of sports.

Peopel grow up wounds heal and the Springbok did not start apartheid the old guard did so stop blaming things like the bok badge and al whites.

Eish people WTF - get offf it.

Politics out of sport then u talk about sports helping the plitical process.do u see the irony in that slashen? if things have changed and the bok has helped in building a nation why does the bok not want to be like the rest of the nation and adopt its sporting code.why should the nation comprimise for the all mughty bok?

we should take the good of what came out of it and leave it at that - take politics out of sport world wide - it helped in a big way - yet politics does not help any sport

I completely agree with you. I find it interesting with the fact that this country is drowning in soaring crime rates and poverty, yet the first thing that the government targets is changing the Springbok emblem. So many people in this country don't have a roof over their heads but the government thinks that it's more important to blame the tired old excuse of apartheid and once again mix politics with sport. It will probably cost tax payers millions in the end, to change the branding of the rugby team. How about addressing more important issues in this country?!

Excuse me.....but what the hell does the Springbok have to do with racism or any of that crap that they seem to be throwing into our faces more and more each and every day? If these damn meddling politicians can rather stick to the things they know (or as is the case these days, do not know) then maybe all the negativety can be directed away from our sports men and women and positive things can become of us as a sporting nation
