A recent article published in the Washing Post has exposed, once again, that scientists, during the 1940's were experimenting on prisoners, soldiers and specifically mental patients and children, in Guatemala. They needed to test the effect of Penicillin on sexually transmitted diseases, so they injected the subjects, knowing that this was unethical. Read this excerpt :
"The research included infecting prisoners by bringing them prostitutes who were either already carrying the diseases or were purposely infected by the researchers. Doctors also poured bacteria onto wounds they had opened with needles on prisoners’ penises, faces and arms. In some cases, infectious material was injected into their spines, the commission reported."

America has once again shown its inability to be the "super power" of the world with equality, compassion, and other admirable traits. Instead its bullish ego has run ahead of it and they have squandered their power on the powerless.
One only has to ask whether the HIV virus wasnt brought to Africa by American scientists and the powerless African tribes deliberately infected. Strange that the first knowledge of HIV was exposed when Rock Hudson admitted to having the disease. Questions have to be raised.
