2011? Here be disappointments…

The Blackberry Blackout:

We are all well aware of The Day the BlackBerries Died. Millions suddenly forgot how to send SMS’s or make phone calls. Being cut off from BBM, whatsApp and FBChat proved to be a challenge many were not ready to face. As much as we hated our Blackberries during that particularly stressful period, we still love them. I’m sure many a blackberry ended up discarded and unloved.

rAge:

For some odd reason that I cannot recall right now, I didn’t attend last year’s rAge (2010 being my first year as a Jozi resident.)

Imagine my excitement when rAge rolled around again this year. All geared and set to go, but the excitement fizzled out. I think it’s not so much a case of rAge being crappy, than me expecting more. It didn’t take an awful lot of strolling around to see everything there was to see. Still, I couldn’t leave without at least ONE purchase. Heavy Rain. Go get it!!

Gaming:  (not an event per se)

Speaking of games, on a more personal front we upgraded to a PS3 this year. (Subtle hint: I want the move hamper…)

Needless to say, I had a lot of good gaming to catch up to. Currently, I’m playing Oblivion, in preparation for Skyrim *evil grin*

And I do believe I need Alice for Xmas…

(I have a PS3. And a BB. And an Android phone that I love with all my heart)

I have a Wildfire S smilies/tongue.gif It's my baby. Wildfires are great because they have the functionality of expensive phones at a much cheaper price
