2010 Fifa World Cup Soccer stadiums get 360 degree Virtual Tours

Isn't technology amazing? The one moment you are sitting in your house playing on the net and the next moment you are at the opposite side of the earth taking a virtual tour.  

With the 2010 Fifa World Cup Soccer only a few days away, I thought it good to show you just one such virtual tour. This digital masterpeice lets you take a free 360 degree virtual tour of the world famous Cape Town Stadium previously known as Greenpoint Stadium. 

The stadium has a seating capacity of 68 000, and cost R4.4billion to build and within only a few days soccer fans from around the globe will decend on this stadium to watch the game and reak havoc, so take a tour of this stadium before the mahem starts ;-)

  • 2010-06-21 at 13.30 : Portugal Portugal vs North Korea Korea DPR (Group G)
  • 2010-06-24 at 20.30 : Cameroon Cameroon vs Netherlands Netherlands (Group E)
  • 2010-06-29 at 20.30 : Winners of Group H vs Runners-up of Group G (Round of 16)
  • 2010-07-03 at 16.00 : Winners of Match 52 vs Winners of Match 51 (Quarter Finals)
  • 2010-07-06 at 20.30 : Winners of Match 58 vs Winners of Match 57 (Semi Finals)

Thanks for the blog post Simon. We also created 360 degree panoramic Virtual Tours of Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth, and Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, and will be publishing these shortly. Watch this space... smilies/wink.gif

These are really cool. I'm still bummed that I won't be setting foot at Soccer City. Both the games I'm going for are at Ellis Park.

I am not going to any games at all, so be glad you got tickets to Ellis Park, ;-)
Here in the Garden Route it's cool but the bumm thing is it means no soccer.. and i dont even own a tv so zero soccer for me...

Simon, make the trip along to PE, it is a lovely drive, & there are still tickets available for many games there, in what is the prettiest stadium of the lot!

@ Simon, Sorry, no spare VIP tickets...but PE is one of the few stadia that is not completely sold out for all categories of tickets.
