Health tips for gamers

So if you are like any serious gamer, a session can stretch for multiple hours if not an entire day. This of course places some strain on the human body which lets face it has not evolved to be able to sit in front of a blinking screen all day with only minimal hand and arm movement "could evolution speed up already." Due to this fact allot of my friends and myself in the past always made sure to have some mechanisms in place to see us through the worst of it (mostly around the 12th time that sniper shot you from the other side of the map *%#!) These mechanisms can include a large bag of crisps, at least 2 litres of coke (don't forget the ice). Meals are substituted for a slice of toast, chocolate bar, bowl of cereal (no matter the time of day), or even my favourite delivery pizza for those who have not spent all their money already on some piece of gaming.

Gaming highs and lows of 2011

My disappointment of the year has to be Dragon Age 2. Not for game play, I loved the graphic, leveling and interface changes. . As an avid fan I was so looking forward to the great story promised and what I experienced in Dragon Age 1. Instead I got a half backed mash of confusing plot line, linked loosely and pathetically together by some overall story ark of mages and templar's are going to have a blow out any second. So after seeing the end coming from about scene 2 in the story I was not impressed. Let's hope that now that they have the filler for number three out the way, "few we managed to drag it out and make a few bucks", they will get back to the awesome story and in depth character interaction we fell in love with in Dragon Age One.

So....I have had some questions on how to deal with depression. This follows on a post I did way back on Depression & Anxiety as well as my recent Dj Fresh post on Suicide.

Hit Me BB One More Time?

I never did see it coming. I always thought we were happy and that our (worldwide) connection would last forever. And then: my entire (cyber) world was ripped out from under me. I had become to needy and BB needed time out!

Echoes

Today is our year-end party. It has a Turkish theme. It’s at a Turkish restaurant and we were told to ‘wear something smart with a touch of Turkish gold’.

2011 - My year of not getting any.

I read the headline about winning something, so like anyone else, I clicked on it and I was presented with a tough question. The best and worst (in my opinion) of technological gadgets for 2011. I wracked my brain for gadgets that I bought this year, and OMG, I actually haven't bought myself anything.

I heard the dramatics on the radio this morning with regards to Dj Fresh and then read the post Sybs did (if I knew how to post a link I would, so don't be lazy, look for it under Opinion blogs)

Here be dragon slayers!

I use ice weapons. Dragons don't like ice. They breathe fire and fart sulphur, so ice is the last thing they cope with. Which is why I use the Ice Sword of Banderbar as often as possible when slaying dragons. But as with all enchanted weapons, the charge doesn't last forever, so I hunt for souls to trap in order to bring my sword back to full power once again.

Night Fall

Wolfe

The haunting moonlight washes over the cross on her bedroom wall. A gentle breeze taunts her curtains, sweeping shadows glide across the floor.

A dark melody echoes in the distant corridors of her memory. The lust between her thighs ignites the fire in her lungs, her bare skin glistening with the burning images in her mind.

A dark shadow stands before her bed, death fills the room, breathing life into the shadows. The darkness surrounding her bed consumes her satin sheets as they fall to the ground.
