Who knew a silly post about Angry Birds would get me an Angry Bird (iPad case)? The irony isn't lost on me. Anyhoodle, thank you so much MyDL and sponsors for the very cool bag of tricks I won in MyDL's Major Year-End Blogging Competition.

I won a Griffin PowerDock Dual iPad/iPhone/iPod charger, a Griffin Loop iPad stand, an Angry Birds case and a Navigon GPS app code (worth $60).

I got to try one of iOS 5′s new features earlier today – wireless software update, because I left my cable at home. It was very simple, all I had to do was go into Settings > General > Software Update and begin!

What really bugged me was the headlines of Apple's servers not being sufficient for the update. Well lets see… Steve passed away (R.I.P), this was a real revelation for the iOS and they were releasing a new iPhone on Friday so obviously it would be swamped.

Although we knew why Steve Jobs left Apple when he did, it was still a shock reading about his death via Twitter and Facebook yesterday.

I don't want to rehash what's already been said, I'm sure you've read all about it online. Bottom line, he was an innovator, a visionary, a creative genius and a brilliant business man. And he will not be forgotten.

Mac OS X Lion Review - Final Release

Yes I got my hands on a Golden Master build of the Mac OS X Lion that is predicted to be released on the 6th (Today) or 19th July 2011. The Golden Master was released on the 1st July 2011.

The Golden Master build is suppose to be the final build for the OS X. Maybe will get a few updates when it's released to fix minor errors.
