Those of you sheltering from this weather under a rock may not have noticed the MyDL channel that has been created on the lagnet server.

Surprisingly this isn't a blog about a so-called "third-world" country with a dictatorship trying to crush its people. No, it's actually about Italy. And their ridiculously corrupt government trying to silence the voices of its people.

Lately I've been feeling a little disillusioned with the whole social media thing. At first it was exciting, something new, somewhere to voice my thoughts and opinions (which are all startlingly original, of course).

Which question am I answering? Well, the correct answer to that question would be "what will the Japs think of next?"

I love food. I love berries (especially the common blackberry), and fruit, and donuts, and pasta, and everything that's bad for me that I wish was good.

I was browsing through the ITweb site and comments, and saw some interesting ones on the Facebook issue. Someone compared it to ganja, while another said that if banned it just became more appealing, and people would use proxy sites to access it anyway.
