I guess Kanye can't be charming forever.  Somewhere a long the line he needed to pull a Britney, and shock the world.

Here's the break down.  At the VMA Awards, Taylor Swift gets the award for best music video, and goes up to thank her mom, dad and Jesus.  She starts talking, when next thing, Kanye jumps on stage and starts saying how fantastic Beyonce's music video it does.  Snap, ok!  That is rude.

See, now the kid has to win again next year, so she can finish her acceptance speech.  I love Beyonce, she rocks, and I'm glad she did not approve of Kanye's insanity.  I wonder what Jay Z had to say about his wife being stalkertised like this.

Many people have speculated that the moon landing was a hoax, I used to laugh at this assumption, but recently, I have questioned if it was.

I did not know until starting to investigate, that only twelve people, in forty years, have walked across the moon's surface.  The next mission is only in 2010, and not by NASA.  I look at developments of cars, planes, ships, trains and other travel mechanisms.  Why was the Apollo Mission the last mission.

Another spanner in the works with regards to the moon landing actually happening, is the missing data and tapes.  There was even one of the rocks on the "moon" that had a "C" on it.

Certain materials had not been established, yet they sent out numerous missions for moon landings?  I wonder what created the sudden holt on what seemed to be a successful endevour.

The US government were known during that era, for slipping money under the table to hush up events.  Do not get me wrong, I am a huge Kennedy fan, but I wonder what secrets JFK took to his grave. 

If my and 6% of the world's suspicions are correct, I hope in 2010, if the real first landing on the moon happens, these astronauts will get due credit.  This kind of history should not be messed with.  Space gate is over, let's re-write history world!

(South Africa)  Cries of disgust have been screamed from ADSL Competitors world wide.  Winston, the 11 month old pigeon, managed to beat an email, and these competitors want answers. 

A source said to us in an interview, "Is it a bird, or is it really a plane?".  This little remark has caused havoc in BOW (Bird Organisation Worldwide).  The ADSL Competitors are insisting that little Winston get checked to determine if he's a bird or a plane/tiger/Harry Potter.  Head of BOW, Tweety, has stated, "We are outraged that the competitors want tests done, Winston's just got speed, and is a good generator for our community.  He is a good service provider, and knows how to dodge traffic.  He is our hero, the pigeon world now has respect again.   People no longer throw bread at us, but ask us what the future holds.  It is fantastic, very liberating".

A source within BOW however has made a comment that has caused chaos within the bird community.  "Frank" (not his real name), the one eyed, one legged, one winged parrot, after blowing a mouth full of marijuana smoke out, stated, "I think the dude is on roids man.  He benches 50g at BEG (Birds Exclusive Gym), and he always looks wired.  I'd do a dope test if i was you, that dude's no plane, or is he?  Man, don't make me paranoid!  I'm hungry.  Where's my seeds?"

Another problem that has emerged, are Kamakazi pigeons.  When questioning the ring leader, Fidget, he did not hesitate with his answer.  "We're competing against a super hero.  The best tricks we could pull, was flying in circles  and looking cute in the park.  Now we just look like fools.  Please excuse me, I have a car window to fly into"

Someone else, who has reported his disappointment, is Chuck Norris.  "This little guy is more famous than me.  This is one test I could not pass, the ADSL one!  I'm doomed, I'm not so hot anymore.  I hand over my crown to him."  *Cries hysterically before round house kicking a wall*

One thing is for sure, we're proud of Winston, and will think twice next time we chase birds away because they are being pests.  Start respecting pigeons, they are going to rule the world of technology, or do they already?

I was flipping channels, and decided to watch Prison Break (which I call Prison Run, as they are always running).  Little did I know, by the end of the show, I would be in a foetal position on my couch.  Prison Break now reminds me of Oz.
For those of you wondering, us pleb non-dstv folk, just got Prison Break on SABC 3.

My precious Michael Scofield is being roughed up, but then in the same sentence saved by Alex?  Lincoln looks like he's living the high life, then finds out some person has his son and Michael's girlfriend hostage in Panama.  What on earth is going on?  Old prison guards are a dictator's slave.  The same dictator who has the prisoners kill each other, and not argue.

Morals are questioned.  Politics is made into a further mockery.  And I am curious to see how The Company is working in this series.

Tonight, 9pm.  SABC 3, watch Prison Break, if you've missed it.  But I would suggest you don't do a tv dinner with this one.

The bouncy boys from Liverpool, even though half deceased, have music that is alive and well.  The White Album is being re-mastered, and released.

The Beatles Rock Star game is now the hip game to play, and it seems like their 1 billion record sale figure, is going to somehow increase.  Even though only Paul McCartney and Ringo Star, are the only surviving members who can enjoy the success of this, they are not the only beneficeries.  Nor are the trusts of John Lennon or George Harrison.  Michael Jackson & Elvis Presley's trusts will benefit too, seeing they own royalties to some of The Beatles songs.

It seems this is one legendary group that will never fade, and will always re-invent themselves.  Local band, The Parlotones, will be performing some of their tracks on Jacaranda this afternoon.  I will keep you updated.

I will always be one of their number one fans, and my grandchildren will listen to this magic, and play it too.  And of course, for those who do not want albums, the boys have naturally gone digital all the way.  Enjoy, this is history

The vibe that some artists give off, is enough to make one be sick or want to hit them.  I still want to find the idiots out there, who tell artists to be arrogant, to get respect, and throttle them.  It's not necessary, most artists fame are short lived, and they land up leaving a string of tracks behind when they pass away, that are only released years after their death.

Take social networking site, Myspace.  I find it amusing how some bands do not allow other bands to add them as friends.  What is the point of Myspace if you cannot join forces to build an industry.
I remember when I had my first airplay.  I thought I had made it.  It turns out the track was not complete, and so I will only be back on air when my current album is flawless.  Other artists, and I am targetting local artists here, have average tracks.  The only local band this year that has shocked me with fantastic work, is Merseystate.  The rest bores me to tears.  I feel artists release their best work, when they are still modest.  The spiral into commercial, projectile vomit as soon as they get any kind of ego's.

I am all for local music, but our artists must catch a wake up, and realise, how you treat people now, is how they are going to talk about your music.
I am going to listen to some Prime Circle and Parlotones when I  am home, to get over this.  I love those guys, they have the most modest hearts, which make them number one in my books!

I am excited about Kindle and other products like these.  I believe they will be good for school children with regards to text books, varsity students for university, but when it comes down to owning books, digital is no way to go.

I finished a book last night, it was printed in 1970.  It still had that old book smell.  This smell reminded me of my uncle and aunts old library.  I would sit in a big arm chair, drawing or reading, and the smell of years worth of knowledge, made me feel like I was in another world.  Does Google intend on creating a device to make this smell.

I then think about my father's music book on The Beatles.  This is the most precious material item in our family as far as I am concerned.  Honestly, if I get left nothing else, I want this book.  It has that beautiful book smell too.  I do not want a digital copy, but the original.  Once, I got to keep it for a week.  That book never leaves the house.

I want to be able to pass books onto my children someday, that were passed onto me.  Google, take it easy on your taking over the literature industry.  Computers crash, and people will lose those books.  Once this happens, they will not be able to read, and the world will be chaotic.  People with bad epilepsy can't read screens either.  I hope that publishing will not be destroyed, because somebody got a little idea. 

I do not want to pass on a digital book, but rather stories on paper that I fell in love with.

My debut album, which is still being made, is now going to be made using Pro Tools and Reason.  Originally we were going to record my band live, but as half of us know the songs and the other half don't, the album will not be completed on time.

We're going digital.

The great thing about using a programme like Pro Tools, is that you really, honestly cannot tell the difference.  You pay for this difference, but if you are ever thinking about seriously getting into music.  The combination of these two programmes are what you need.  When I have my new pc, these are two programmes I am getting before anything else.  We will then digitally release our digital work, with videos done digitally, using digital cameras.  It's just one big, beautiful, digital project.

I can't wait!

You guys will get the first album of course, and don't tell anyone, the instruments aren't real!  Although, you probably won't believe me, seeing that it will sound so real. 

I wish to share with you all my detachment issues I am having without a pc at home.  I can't think of a song and quickly record it on Reason, or think of an article and jot it down on word, I actually have to exercise my memory.  It's torture!

For someone who's life revolves around music and writing, being without tv is like being without water.  At least the twitching has stopped.
I will never complain about quantizing notes on Reason again, I just want to make sounds.

My great aunt, is one of those grannies who bakes for people when they hurt their leg.  She's the granny who keeps everyone's spare house keys, and people panick if she goes on holiday.  She would fit in on Wisteria Lane perfectly, as she always knows EVERYONE'S business, but know one minds too much, coz they know she'll only try help, never harm.

Today she calls me before she leaves for the hospital to have an operation, to ask how I am feeling after my returned flu.  This is the kind of woman she is.  She is about to have a two hour operation, and worries about my sniffles.  The cutest thing about this call is the following comment, "I just took my curlers out my hair, so my hair looked nice for today".  I said, "They're putting a surgical cap on you, no one's going to look at the hair".  She says, "No, but they'll see my hair BEFORE they put on the surgical cap, and i'll feel much better looking good before they cut me open".

This was too much!  She's the sweetest old lady alive.

She's my granny:)  And I love her, she makes my heart warm
