Moleskin is a name that many people will associate with high quality notebooks of varying sizes.
I downloaded the iPad version to give it a try as well.
Immediately I didn’t like it. It won’t work in landscape mode so you have to turn it to be portrait.
This is one application that you need to look at the help to get started and that is to me counter intuitive with apple applications. It will allow you to write on the screen using your finger or stylus and you can also use the keyboard as well. However selecting the input mode is very tedious and not quick to do.
It does not have any palm protection so you have to use it carefully if writing.
It does have different paper style including squared, plain and ruled. It will also allow you to share your thoughts with facebook, twitter and email which some people may like.
Also missing is voice recording.
You can also input images that you have taken using the camera.
If I wanted an application to use as a travel log then this might be an option. But for an application to use in a sales environment it is just too slow to use and the lack of landscape mode makes it not the best implementation of an Apple application.
