The Tour de France is arguably one of the toughest cycle races known to man. The rolling hills, the high mountains & the endless plains provide millions of viewers with thrilling road racing every year. The 99th edition of the race kicked off on the 30th of June and saw 18 teams & more than 200 riders battle it out for the coveted yellow jersey.

This iconic race was first staged in France in 1903 and covers a staggering average of 3600 km’s over the course of three weeks. The first race was born out of a rivalry between two French sporting newspapers, both stuck in a bid to outsell each other, and attracted between 60 – 80 entrants none of whom were professional cyclists. Since then however, Le Tour has gone on to capture the imagination of millions of enthusiasts worldwide.

Like many other, equally ignorant Apple critics, I had never even touched an iPod Touch, let alone owned that or any other Apple device.

It should be easy to get it right. I mean OneNote on the workstation is a great product and integrates with sharepoint quite nicely.

Do you own an iPad? If so, you should be familiar with the saying: "There's an App for that!" Well, what are the TOP 5 apps you use on a regular basis and regard as "essential" in your life on a day-to-day basis?

There really is an app for that. If you don't beleive that Apple genuinely trademarked this catchphrase, check this article out here and here.

So which apps live on your iOS-clad device and burn the non-expandible gigs available on it?

There are a few apps that I use on a daily basis and cannot live without. Here they are:
