I think I need time out from my life of work.. I have become a couch potato @ work , eating @ my desk , spilling coffee and then sending an email to Thando to come help me clean the mess!

I come in, in the mornings and then sink myself into this chair, and by midmorning Ive sunk lower into it. Off course by now it has taken on the shape of my bulbous ass, and by lunch time I have no feeling to even getup. JetFuel ( my coffee concoction) kicks me into higgher gear, and then I feel revved up to actually get stuff done.

Gone are the days of midday pub lunches with copious amounts of beer, followed by high speed tactical driving on the freeways, only to be pulled over by a speedcop chewing biltong and accepting my gift of a banknote neatly folded to be as inconspicuous as possible.

its  easy for you to say Be Moral, Be Ethical! Thats you! I'M NOT. bribes are meant to be given and bribes are meant to be taken. it smooths your path. it paves the way!

Wait a minute, that gives me an idea. I should include this in my sales pitch. I could go on as i normally do, pointing out the benefits of giving me the deal, assuring them of my service at all times ( yeah right!), my company willl treat them with dignity and respect (WTF!) and I could end off with ...... and I am certainly willing to palm the hand that signs off on the contract, Or how about a voucher for Teasers for a funfilled afternoon, or a ticket for a weekend getaway for 2 ( or 3 these days) ....get the picture.......you u get my drift!

I love Africa, the sunny skies, the willingness of our people to make beer available in the most out of the way places. The open-mindedness of our cops , willingness to look the other way when something is going down. The willingness to protect the status quo, the unwillingness to deliver textbooks even when ordered by the courts, the keeness to give familia and friends jobs. Thats so cool. I could be an intelligence agent...my name is Brown......James Brown........has a ring to it.

Nuff said....back to the grind....let me see who I can corrupt...who I can bribe......who I can scam.......who I can payoff.......who's on the take.

Africa my beloved land, My beloved land ....Africa!

so much truth

right wonder what i could let you bribe me about lol . I love the start of your couch potato bit we all get bogged down and forget that work can be done away from the normal environments. Those pub lunches and after work drinks often get so much accomplished .

Blushing

hey thanks :) Bribery is very big in most parts of Africa and seen as a normal way of life. Man through the ages has learnt about the concept if you scratch my back I will scratch yours ! Indeed we all have a price and we all can be bribed even as a lil kid I recall being told if you behave you will get a treat so yes we have grown up in a society like this and its hard to break old habits one would say ;)
