I just got a Motorola Razr XT910. I have had a weakness for this phone since it was released
in late 2011 (27 October in SA) . Now I have one, and it has me. This phone is smarter than I am.

For those living in ignorance, the Razr has a 7.1 mm thin shape, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch screen with Corning Gorilla glass, DuPont light and tough Kevlar fiber shell, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of memory and the
latest Android 2.3 operating system.

And I haven't even mentioned the 8MP camera with flash yet.

At release, this phone dethroned the mighty Samsung Galaxy S II as the best on the market and, in it's turn, it was dethroned by the S III a few weeks back.

So far so good, I have it out of the box and I'm surprised that it looks huge!

The accessories look a bit sparse but I can see a USB cable that plugs into the charger to charge, but also doubles as the computer connect cable - clever

An interesting looking headset and two slim pamphlets complete the package.

See you all later, I'm off to play ...

I am a 40-something computer geek who years ago decided that technology would either rule me or I would rule it. So far so good, but due to an irrational fear of cellphones i now face my greatest adventure. Learning to use my Motorola Razr
