Ek kry so lekker!

The two teams who have fought over the La Liga title couldn't make it all the way in the Champions League. Instead a team that is languishing in sixth place in the Premiership & a team that is sitting 8 point behind the log leaders in the Bundesliga has made it to the final.

So much for the superiority of the Spanish game!

Let this be a lesson to all those fake Spanish football fans who don't even know who finished third in La Liga last season, you can have all the skill & flair in the world but if you are playing in a soft league where only two teams are good enough to challenge for the title year in & year out you will eventually become one dimensional & you will not be able to adapt when you face determined opposition. 

The dogged determination of a Premier League side will always see them through.The Premiership is the toughest league in the world & La Liga is just a soapie with two stars & a bunch of supporting actors.
