All football/soccer fans know that this year entails two very important and patriotic tournaments. To us in Africa, the AFCON 2012 and to those in Europe, the UEFA Euro 2012!

Both of these competitions were set to be amazing and with one already providing a great finale, we can really look forward to the next one. On the 8th of June, the best teams in Europe will line up to prove whose best! As usual, EA Sports are in the front-line to release a truly spectacular football game.

UEFA EURO 2012™ will be available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and on PC. Indeed, the main point of the game is to compete against the 53 other teams, through 8 stadiums in the tournament, throughout Poland and Ukraine and beat them to be crowned the champions of Europe. However, there will be an online platform that allows users to compete against one another with the benefits of a live service that will create challenges and situations in the game that have taken place in real-life! Cool right?

An 'Expedition Mode' will allow gamers to create a whole new team to enter the tournament with and either play with or manage. Favourite virtual pro's from the FIFA 12™ platform will be available to captain this custom team.

As a World Cup game owner I am looking forward to this game and especially because this game will contain features introduced in FIFA 12
