Twilight

Cage sucks. end of story.

Twilight four wasnt that bad, but in terms of chick flicks that I enjoyed - the honour goes to bridesmaids.

I also want to know

Why so cagey towards Nick Cage? NOT that I love him (my heart belongs to George Clooney... *swoons*... even more so now that he has managed to nab a screenwriter's Oscar nod too!), but I don't exactly despise him either. However, I can't actually judge you for hatin', because I have the same type of unreasonable dislike for Renee Zellweger.

George

Actors that women go weak in the knees for but don't do it for me: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp. I can't remember who else.

Rage against the Cage

What's wrong with Nicholas Cage? Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Adaptation, Drive Angry, Ghost Rider...need I go on? Actually, I kinda like The Cage, but he's definitely a bit of an overactor and he makes some terrible movie choices. Still not gonna stop me from seeing Ghost Rider 2, though.

Anyhoo, to disagree with MJ for a moment...First Class was good, but Captain America was definitely my choice for Best Comic Book Movie of 2011. A great mix of the regular Marvel Cap and the Ultimate Marvel Cap, real heart, fun bits, and beating up super-science-magic Nazis. Great stuff. I'm down with the rest of the list though...loved Rio and Sherlock Holmes, hated Immortals, and holy crap, you watched Gnomeo and Juliet? Why?!! Some kinda movie-based masochism?

Fun stuff anyhoo...any early predictions for category contenders for 2012?

Marvel

I preferred X-Men: First Class over Captain America!
