Vernon Koekemoer meets The Source

We had Vernon Koekemoer in studio today for a promo photo and video shoot for the upcoming DigitalLife Expo 2009. I am impressed with Cassie Booyse, his real name, as a person. You have this idea in your head after all the Nando's ads and pictures on the web. He is a very down to earth guy. In my opinion he is the first actual South African Internet celebrity after his photo got taken at a H2O rave and got some treatment by Photoshop freaks. After the pictures of him started spreading on the web, Vernon Koekemoer went as big as having a segment on SKY News covering his rise to online fame. We took some behind the scenes video footage for MyDL which should be up somewhere next week, so look out for that. You will also be able to see Vernon play with some of the cool toys that will be part of the DigitalLife Home Prize.
