This past weekend I had to yet again call on a maid service as I cannot find anyone reliable nor do I have the time to search.

 I was pleasantly surprised when Veronica from Marvelous Maids arrived at my doorstep with a smile on her face and ready to work from the moment she stepped into my house, very unlike the service I received from Lizzies about 2 or 3 months ago.

You see, Lizzies charged me much more. The woman, who shall remain nameless, walked into my house, stood in my kitchen; arms folded and said she wanted coffee before she starts. She ate her smelly fish at leisure while sipping on coffee. She started a half an hour later.

After that, she made a point of showing me just how dusty my house is.

YES! I know my bloody house is dusty, that is why I need help, BECAUSE I have no time to breath, let alone do the dusting. Look, my house is always tidy. The only thing that is usually behind is the ironing and the dusting.

She left early and the shirt that she was ironing was abandoned on the ironing board with the iron still on and more than half the washing still wrinkled.

MM on the other hand politely accepted a cup of coffee that I offered, drank it quickly, and asked where she could put her uniform on. She started working immediately, thoroughly, and beautifully and smiled all the time. I did not ONCE get "THE FACE" when I asked her to do something for me! Heck she even gave me a compliment on how neat my house is. She was very careful around my son i.r.o. the hot iron & chemicals. MM also charged less, and that for much  better service. She was so great, I let her go home earlier.

This morning I booked Veronica again for August as well as a Gardener  from MM, and I would recommend them to anyone. Easy to Hire, Easy to Fire, but who would want to – they’re GREAT!!!
