The debate may have died down on this subject, but this morning I came across a blog written by Mablerh on JustCurious.co.za titled White People Annoy Me and after reading it I wanted to know more about the author as I am always interested to see what makes idiots tick, so I went onto his Twitter page and found that at the top of the list of people he follows is Madame Helen Zille......this in turn reminded me of the fact that I still have 2c to contribute toward the Refugee topic...

The concept of democracy, in the global sense, is much desired, but the underlying undercurrent behind the tenet of democracy - two wolves and a sheep deciding on what’s for dinner - is not a sobering thought. But, given that democracy is bashed around like a tennis ball at a tennis tournament, surely there must be more to the idea than that what meets the eye?

Once again a sangoma has been consulted in the case of a sudden tragic sudden death, this time north of Pretoria, in Soshanguve. On the simple say-so of a ‘relative’, the house belonging to an elderly person whom the sangoma accused of practising witchcraft was burnt down, along with two other houses.

Yes people, although English is considered to be a universal language and one that is used so diversely, there is one other language I feel can be used on a global scale. Soccer! Many refer to it as football, futebol or even diski but whatever name you call it by, this game reaches into the hearts of all who partake in it and does something wonderful!
