My kids, aged 8 months and 22 months, love the iPad more than I do. They have a host of applications or games that help with the cognitive development like sounds from animals, shapes and colors and some speech recognition apps like Dork who repeats everything they say in a funny voice. But inbetween the drawing and painting with their sticky and sometimes messy fingers, I somehow feel that they've gotten bored of all these games, and need something more entertaining. Ive yet to load all their favorite movies and cartoons on the device, but is there any other entertaining apps that I can have a look at and download for them? My device has been jailbroken so anything from Cydia is also fine if anyone can reccomend I'd appreciate it.

Facebook, quick unsearched stats will prove that no other medium has ever allowed people to be so engaged in each others' lives. I might be wrong, i think "everyone" who has access to the internet has a Facebook account. Facebook is probably almost 10 years old and as we know we as human beings get bored with things when its too good for too long! So it goes without saying that someday(today)Facebook will come under some form of agenda to cause it to lose market share and ultimately lose its position it finds itself in at the moment...which is dominance! It happened to all good things that evryone liked and loved and thought would never come to an end or be topped by something better, MySpace, Microsoft, Toyota to name but a few! And what do you know, Facebook's IPO is being discussed by 8 year old kids all over the world, stay at home Stepford wives are even getting in on the action, because Facebook has become so big, everyone who's everyone knows about its overvaluation and its subsequent (as analysts in the USA call it) "embarrassing" drop in share price...Frankly, I dont know what's so embarrassing about it at all, Im sure if I knew this was going to happen Zuckerburg must have known too? Its the preverbial end-of-the-road if one can call it that, from now on keep a look out for more "stories" to hit the news about Facebook or anything and anyone related to Facebook, this is my take on technological bubbles in the world, they come, get us all involved and somehow, as if to say there is a natural order to technological life aswell...it falls down, spectacularly too! 1,2,3 even 5 years from now Facebook will be a thing of the past or it will be a 2nd or 3rd option from which to see which of your friends checked in at McDonald's!

I see the money has increased to 40c per hit! Wow that's great!

Ill be sure to blog more and more often as I did while I was still very active on the website,now that I'm grown, 26 and more mature with 2 kids, a wife and a house I must make time for the general techno fix that I've been craving for for long now!

Ill spew out some blogs this week and will be more active again, the blogs and content are really inspiring guys!

I can think back to 2003 when I had no phone! The process of a number 2 was simple, sit down and do the dirty, if its a long dirty I can just take a newspaper or magazine with me, if short, nothing is needed as all the energy and attention will be focused to one area!

Since then its never been the same, and last night I felt the brunt of not having a phone by my side for emotional support through my energy sapping experience! I left my phone in the living room and went in for the download, after literally 10 seconds I felt empty, not because of the number 2 but because my phone was not with me! I could not quickly log into FaceBook or quickly follow my favorite star on Twitter, nor could I jam my favorite music while I tried to suppress the sounds coming from this process!

It dawned upon me how attached I was to my phone! I have all manners of entertainment on there, and believe me when you do the dirty you need to entertain yourself! Some people call it an addiction and some people call it a problem but it’s much better than those descriptions, it’s a part of your being!

It keeps you occupied when you otherwise would be focused on the number 2 process and look at the floor and count the number of tiles in the bathroom etc.

We are attached to our phones and for good reason, its a form of entertainment when one really needs it, its a device that lets you pass the time when you would have otherwise focused on things you should not be focused on, its a device that fills a gap, a gap of boredom...even when doing the dirty!
