Miscellaneous opinions and insights

Mostly about technology and its application with occasional opinions on humanity and some of the people we have to live with. Not scared to comment but generally I am gentle with it.

Born in England when black and white TV was a novelty in most homes, I have grown up and dedicated my life to technology.
Came to South Africa in 1970 and completed formal education here.
I have used computer technology all my working life and still am learning more about using it everyday. The speed with which we can now share ideas and information is proof that the dreams and visions I heard in the late 1960's can come true

How many devices do you have that connecct to the Web

With apologies to Charles Strouse and Lee Adams and to Mary Hopkins (I can't sing like her)

Once upon a time there was a blogsite
Where we used to raise a point or two
Remember how we blogged away the hours
And dreamed of all the great things we would do

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd blog and comment forever and a day
We'd write the posts we'd choose
We'd express our points of view
For we were young and sure to blog our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
