Well i have an 18 year old and every week-end we open our house to a few of his friends - and so the week-end begins..

After having lost my dad some 17 years ago to cancer, and my mom in January to brain cancer, i got news that my godmother now has brain cancer too and has about 3 months to live.  All i could do this morning was to sit and cry and ask whether we actually have any control of this deadly killer.

Well bloggers, after a long break, I am finally back.  some will remember me (i never  keep quiet or hold back on commenting or making statements), while some of the newer bloggers wont.  And there are quite a few newer guys.

I read this amazingly written, witty piece by Charlie Brooker of Guardian UK.  Just shows what people know, how they think and how ignorant one can be when listening to what the media wants you to believe.

We are now moving into our third week of striking individuals and one has to ask - do you blame them.

Now let me make myself very clear.  9/11 was a horrendous act upon innocent people and may the family and friends of those who died find strength to deal with it.

Well I have to say, for a final match, the playing was shoddy, unexciting (besides the goal), dirty and overall - a disappointment. 

what has happened to the competence of our government hospital staff - oops sorry, was there ever any competence in the first place.
