Every year i have a host of people that always wish me Ramadan Mubarak or happy Ramadan and then the questions start to pile up because people kind of know what it is, but dont really understand its purpose and why we do it.  My non muslim friends get all excited and i even have some fast with me, but they have no clue why it is happening, despite going through the hunger pangs and dehydration.

Zapiro was tackled by the ANC Women's League, who condemned his recent cartoon of an erect penis, with a face, legs, a showerhead on its head looking at itself in a mirror.  Headed "The Spear to be raised at Social Cohesion Summit", he also included a poem which refers to Zuma

What can i say about the Pakistan government.  After a little "sorry"from Hillary Clinton regarding the deaths of 16 Pakistani soldiers, Pakistan have agreed to reopen NATO's supply routes to neighbouring Afghanistan.  What they dont understand is that her sorry meant, sorry we only killed 16, it should have been more.  Of course she is going to apologise - she would do anything if it meant preventing having to spend 100 million dollars per month to re-route while negotiations were taking place with Pakistan.

Let me apologise up front for my lack of knowledge of other tablets, but my intention was never to buy one - love my laptop too much.  However i finally succumbed and bought the 7" Geeko tablet to use in bed as the pc is too bulky (it is a phone/tablet).  Well i have to say it is amazing and although i am still trying to find my way around it, it is becoming my most favourite "toy".  As we are resellers, it has been important to try it out, considering there are quite a few tablets on the market.  Let me list the specifications (for those who are clued up and know whether it is really great or not)

Have we lost the plot. Please could somebody tell me why the ANC marched today. Considering the President represents the entire country & all parties, why only the ANC. If they truly felt strongly about the painting - The Spear, why not invite all other parties to join forces in a march based on moral values!!! As an outsider i would have to say this is a racist march, not one based on moral standards, or based on 'freedom of Art'. Why do i say racist?? Because why did this not happen when Ayanda Mabulu painted the presidents genitals almost two years ago in a depiction of "the poverty stricken vs the wealthy" wherein the Pretoria News says Zuma’s penis is supported by a crutch, a metaphor used by Mabulu for the perception that Zuma’s sexual escapades were out of control and needed help" - all Jackson Mthembu (National ANC spokesperson) could say was that he didnt know Mabulu and didnt know his work. Seems like a little flock of sheep converged today. We live in a world where people just dont think for themselves any more. Sad!!

A recent article published in the Washing Post has exposed, once again, that scientists, during the 1940's were experimenting on prisoners, soldiers and specifically mental patients and children, in Guatemala.  They needed to test the effect of Penicillin on sexually transmitted diseases, so they injected the subjects, knowing that this was unethical.  Read this excerpt :
