I was in the UK recently and was listening to one of the morning radio programmes while I was making my breakfast. The DJ was talking about her favourite CD and said “CDs were those little discs that came in those neat little plastic boxes”. She was joking of course, but I am sure that there is a generation now growing up that will never know the pleasure of physical media.
...I am currently in the UK visiting family and friends and discovered that I am still in awe of how technology has changed our lives. One hundred years ago I could not have travelled from Abu Dhabi to London in under 10 hours. Air travel has become so much a part of our lives that we are no longer amazed by it.

I was surprised to note that only one of his top 5 were on my top 5. Thinking about it though I realised that as much as each person is different so are their likes and dislikes in all spheres of life. You might like fish I like steak. You say tomato I... well you get my drift. So here is my top 5 and the challenge goes out to all you tablet and smartphone users to share your top 5. You could get us trying some new ones.
