A post by MG Siegler on TechCrunch has made speculation that that the next update for the OS X Lion for developers is going to be a "GM1" update which means it is a Golden Master (in other words the OS is completed) But this is only the Golden Master candidate which means that it could happen to be uncompleted with further testing.
This is now a month after developers received the preview or beta version of OS X Lion. With further testing from developers Apple was able to fix any minor bugs or issues that's why the Golden Master update is in the loom.
When Snow Leopard's official release to the public, it was just a few weeks before the GM for Snow Leopard was released. So if everything goes well with the GM for OS X Lion, it could very well be the same. Or it could land up being released at Apple's WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference)
The WWDC will be held on the 6th June this year. Can't wait to hear the news on the GM, will try make an update for any news in further posts.

This is beta versions for both PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze tools for jailbreaking your iDevice. (Not available for iPad 2)
A tutorial was posted by Redmond Pie on 26 March 2011 and you can find it here.
They used the PwnageTool and they say it works with the latest version of iTunes 10.2.1; You would also need a Universal Ramdisk Fixer along with PwnageTool bundles for iOS 4.3.1. And your baseband will not be upgraded with the jailbreak.
You can find the sn0wbreeze beta version posted on ih8snow's blog here. It seems to work the same way but users must upgrade to 4.3.1 before running the software. They alert users to keep their baseboards in mind if they rely on a unlocked iPhone.
I'm still waiting for the untethered version but a lot of users don't mind going with the tethered. With these Tethered jailbreaks, it gives way to untethered solutions in the near future and I will let you know of it as soon as it releases. If you cant wait for the untethered version, jailbreak with these tethered tools but you do it at your own risk!

I've been following this story since February 2011 where Sony Computer Entertainment America has taken geohot (Goerge Hotz) to court due to his hack on the Playstation 3 console (Including the slim)
I don't know if you know geohot, but he's the first person to actually unlock the 1st Generation iPhone back in 2007. He was 17 when he done it and it was big news mainly because it was the first unlock to go public and because he was a minor.
You can find below a video uploaded by WatWudYerManSay of the CNBC interview they had with him back then. As well as the video he posted on 21 August 2007 where he shows the first unlocked iPhone.
