So I read this article the other day on TGDaily (over here as a matter of fact) about a Pizza company in Dubai called "Red Tomato Pizza" who have a fridge magnet you literally stick onto your fridge, push a button on it and DING DONG!? Is that Pizza at my front door!? Why YES IT IS!

I happened across this earlier today on a TGDaily article (which is why I should give them the credit to be fair), but wanted to share this with everyone since this is going to be one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 - not to mention I'm super excited about it being a huge fan of the recent series of Marvel comic movies.

Those of you who own a Nokia Lumia 800 will likely have been warned that there is an update available and that you need to connect your phone to your PC and update via Zune.

I received mine early this morning when I woke up and once I'd risen, I'd hooked up my device and let it run the update process (which was painless and quick).

The new update will put your phone software version at 1600.2487.8107.12070 once completed and fixes (from what I can tell from multiple sources) the following issues:

It looks clear that there will be no new Xbox this year. Microsoft has also stated it will not have anything to talk about or show at E3 and it is now speculated that the next Xbox which is codenamed TEN may arrive sometime in 2013.

 

After being unveiled on MTV in 2005, the original Xbox 360 has grown to include additional hardware capabilities (such as integrated WiFi, HDMI and the inclusion of the new Kinect Sensor). Microsoft also went through an embarrassing (and costly) exercise to resolve the so-called "RROD" (Red Ring of Death) hardware failure to produce the current hardware version known as the Xbox 360 S (which has a new outer casing and more energy efficient internals). It's this version that Kinect debuted with.

Ever have one of those bizarre encounters with your PC where you are doodling along, minding your own business and suddenly, BAM, like a bolt of lightning out of the blue your machine reboots and you get one of those "Windows cannot start because..." messages?

Well, this is exactly what happened to my brother in-law the other day. Of course, being the tech-head in the family I was summoned to resolve the situation.

Here's what happened...

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview is here. Released on 29th February 2012 it is available for download for free for ANYONE from the Microsoft website to give a test drive on their machines. The "Consumer Preview" moniker is a friendlier name for what would have been called the Beta version. 

A new logo, a new look, a WHOLE new direction.

I read a rumour last night (and I don't put much stock in rumours, but that said it's always interesting much like gossip is) that the next Xbox may not have a disc drive of any sort.

One of the things that make me question this rumour is the fact that I doubt Microsoft would be so short-sighted as to cut off backwards compatibility with the Xbox 360 and the vast library of games they already have available. This would be very counter-productive indeed.
