Gammatek South Africa has introduced the BoostCase Hybrid, a battery case that extends the iPhone’s battery life.
The BoostCase has a funky design that compliments the bulky design that batteries have. It is convenient and easy to use as the battery case can be removed once the iPhone is fully charged.
“While The BoostCase Hybrid does add a bit of extra bulk it still manageable and portable, plus when your iPhone is fully charged, simply remove the battery and you are left with a convenient, good looking case,” says Zek Cherniak from Gammatek.
The Hybrid is a combination of two products – a slim, form fitting snap-on protective hard case that is available in various colours; and a battery charger attachment bundled with a micro USB cable that is available in either black or white.
To attach the device simply slip on the handset to the device and slide it into the dock connector port. The only flaw is that slim phones have a bulkier appearance while charging.
The device does not renew handset battery life, however it is anticipated that it will provide 90 percent extra power in the one and half our it takes to transfer power to iPhone. Recharging the Hybrid takes approximately three hours.
The BoostCase for iPhone 4/4s offers:
The BoostCase Hybrid R799 and should you wish to change the colour of your pair case, you can purchase them separately for R149 each.
