Nokia's flagship Lumia 900 and its affordable sibling, the Lumia 610 are heading to our shores at the end of June.
Nokia has confirmed that its second wave of Lumia smartphones will be joining the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 later this month. However, pricing and packages will be given at a later stage.
The company has also confirmed that the Lumia 900 will be available first with mobile operator MTN on June 28th.
As part of a global partnership with Warner Bros and the upcoming movie The Dark Knight Rises, consumers will be able to get their hands on the limited edition Lumia 900 smartphone engraved with the Batman logo.
The Lumia 900 was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, and took no fewer than eight awards, including the “Best of CES 2012”.
The smartphone features a 4.3-inch AMOLED display; is equipped with Nokia’s highest capacity battery and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a 1-megapixel front-facing for video calling straight out of the box.
The more affordable Lumia 610, aimed at a younger audience offers a rich social media experience, and provides access to social networks and email contacts in one place. The handset will come in a variety of colours including white, cyan, magenta and black.
